Maggy Voorsluys Gomez is a well- known artist, her work is included in various art collections all over the world. Like communal institutions, museums, companies and private collectors. A great source of inspiration have been the many foreign trips to the far east. In addition to her autonomous art, she makes detailed travel reports of these foreign journeys. She is also active as a designer and illustrator, and she realized several assignments for the business community, some of which can be seen on this website. Her applied art and design assignments consist of designing and illustrating corporated brochures, annual reports, limited editions, and concepts for corporate gifts. She is also active as an art consultant/ curator and has realized national art exhibitions for, the business community, art institutions. She also worked as an art teacher for the bachelor and master’s degree programs for Fontys Academy of Fine and Performing Arts, at the department Art, Communication & Design. She was also head of the department Illustration at ArTeZ the Academy of Fine Arts. She followed her education at the Academy of visual Arts Utrecht, the Rijksacademie Amsterdam, the first teacher degree in Amersfoort and at last she completed a Master Museology at the Reinwardt academy Amsterdam.
