Journeys to non Western areas and countries like the Far East, Japan, Northern Africa, Egypt, Turkey are the source of inspiration for expressive art and photography.

During my tour that lasted several months, I made a photoreport. These photographies could be realised by receiving a stipendium from the Prins Bernhard Foundation for Japan in 1990.

The photoreports were exhibited by several art galleries and companies.
